SRA is consistently recognized as an IT leader by clients, industry associations, and business and technology publications.Daily Responsibilities: Responsible for gathering customer information, installing and upgrading computer equipment and software at customer locations, preparing customer sites, and troubleshooting newly installed equipment. This work is done in a project environment, under the supervision of a project manager and their delegates.Work with end users to identify and deliver required PC service levels.
Liaise with, and provide training and support to, end users and staff on computer operation and other issues.
Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user workstation hardware, and local and networked peripheral devices.
Where required, install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot associated end user software products.
Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
Maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment.
Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance.
Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
Construct, install, and test customized configurations on various platforms and operating systems. Daily Responsibilities Continued Knowledge of Windows XP configuration management and security aspects. Technical knowledge of software packaging technologies. Broad technical knowledge of scripting technologies: Script logic, etc. Broad technical knowledge of imaging technologies: Ghost, etc. Experience with administration of Remedy ticketing system. Broad networking knowledge required to include TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, DNS technologies, SMS and Active Directory 2003. Broad technical writing skills. Required: Years of experience (min) 3
