Provides support for assigned databases responding to database and user problems.
Monitors database error logs, etc, to ensure proper capacity and availability.
Designs database configurations in cooperation with application developers, addressing

necessary performance and recoverability issues.
Executes database software installations, database creations/configurations, and loads.
Supports activities of developers and users as they implement new processes and

applications.
Knowledge of system and object level security.
Skilled in troubleshooting techniques.
