CNC ELECTRICIAN

CNC ELECTRICIAN to assemble control systems, setup, startup and put into operation CNC Machine tools.

Bertsche Engineering is looking for individual to build electrical systems, setup, startup and put in operation CNC control systems for machine tools built by BEC. Technician works independently assembling electrical control systems for CNC machines from electrical drawings per applicable codes and standards. The individual is responsible for building wire harnesses, control and power cables from schematic drawings. Additionally the individual will install conduit for electrical, wire way and similar hardware to machinery. Individual will pull wire harness and cables for termination to machines. Individual must be able to power up CNC, set up Servos and PLC/PMC systems, debug and otherwise test equipment to the degree necessary to verify the accuracy of work performed both on premises and on-site at customer premises. Technician must be able to understand ladder logic.

REQUIREMENTS
All aspects of the build of electrical and fluid systems including:
-2 or 4 year Technology degree
-Experience servicing and maintaining CNC machinery
-Able to travel as need arises

Skilled in building control panels from schematics.
•Build Wire harness
•Terminate by soldering and or, crimping connectors to multi- conductor cables.
•Terminate wires and or cables.
•Install conduit and or pipe to machines including the
mechanical installation of fittings.
•Assembly to design requirements with conformance to
•Safe operation of equipment.
•Able to power up, startup,trouble shoot systems both in house and on customer premises
