CATV Cable Installer

JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities of the Installer may include but are not limited to the following: pre-wiring and multiple dwelling installations; connecting and disconnecting cable services; performing upgrades & downgrades; installation of drops, outlets, converters, and other cable system devices in subscriber homes. Qualified technicians must also be able to complete all required paperwork and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS / POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Driving (must have valid drivers license), repetitive lifting and carrying of equipment (up to 70lbs), as well as digging, crawling, reaching, stooping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and pole & ladder climbing. Must have own truck and tools including ladder rack and 24' ladder.





ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to heat and cold, as well as other weather conditions, heights, various living environments and foliage. Work alone. Work under stressful conditions.
