Bio Medical Equipment Tech

Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics has a current opening for a Bio Medical Equipment Tech. This position maintains high risk, single and multi-component, single unit, patient related, therapeutic or diagnostic medical equipment. Requirements of this position include: a high school diploma or equivalent, 5-7 years relevant work experience, basic electronics training from a junior college, military, or trade school. Graduation from a BMET program which includes medical equipment training, medical terminology, and a hospital internship as well AAMI ICC Certification is preferred.
