Automation Electrician

Installs, maintains and repairs CNC's, PLC's, Servo systems and other industrial controls. Must be capable of successfully performing duties with a minimum of supervision. Select replacement components and assist engineers with the selection of appropriate equipment. Responsible for start up of key equipment in a.m. (compressors, boilers, etc). Required to work in other skilled craft areas to balance maintenance shop load.
REQUIREMENTS
•5+ years industrial electrical experience
•Proficiency with Servo systems, CNC’s and PLC’s and other industrial controls
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, logic diagrams
•Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic components and industrial components
•Proficiency with industrial wiring, installation of conduit, starters, motors (single and multiphase)
•Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and OSHA regulations
•Knowledge of feeders, power circuits, limit switches, proximity
switches, pressure switches, flow switches, pushbuttons, solenoids, encoders and lockout/tagout
