Assoc Director Intranet Dev
The incumbent will be leading our Intranet Development team.
Candidate must have experience in leading a web development team - projects are currently being developed in .Net, VB, ASP, SQL, and Javascript. Candidate will gather application requirements from the business, determine timelines, assign resources, and monitor the development life cycle. Candidate is also responsible for Intranet infrastructure/architecture planning, implementation, and support. Microsoft platform development experience is a plus. Intranet concepts such as content management and data abstraction is a must.
Candidate must interact with the business routinely to understand their Intranet communication needs while ensuring standards are enforced. Candidate must oversee the evaluation of new web technologies to determine business value.
Job Requirements
Must have 5 years of Direct managent of a web development team.
Must have solid background in web development (VB, ASP, SQL, and Javascript.)
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems.
6 years of information systems and/ or project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
PC and desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, e-mail, etc.)
Strong knowledge of strategic and tactical project planning and management concepts, methodologies, tools, standards, and procedures
Demonstrated technical and analytical skills
Strong business knowledge
Working knowledge of information systems concepts
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong conflict resolution, negotiating and facilitating skills
Strong decision-making, problem solving skills, and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to assertively manage the relationship between IT and the applicable customer organization
