JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Supervisor you will be responsible for assigned contracted maintenance accounts, manage crew personnel & production, deliver quality services, and provide excellent customer service. This position requires good organizational, leadership, time management, and communication skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for supervising landscape maintenance services & special projects for company clients
* Meet with clients on a daily basis to review work performed & update on progress. Evaluate & improve quality of landscape
* Oversee crew staff and assign daily responsibilities. Mentor and train crew staff to improve performance
* Monitor operation expenses by tracking job costs and reviewing job hour reports. Make improvements to meet budgeted goals
* Plan, schedule, supervise, and perform daily production tasks: Mowing, rejuvenation pruning & shearing, trimming,
weedeating, edging, weeding, tree/shrub install, seasonal color installations, remedial landscaping, & others
* Participate and conduct training sessions to ensure proper use, care, and inventory of company vehicles, equipment,
and tools. Promote safety by maintaining a safe work environmentJob RequirementsJOB QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree in Landscape/Horticulture or related business field preferred
* Supervisor experience to include managing personnel, overseeing daily production, scheduling, and monitoring operation costs
* Equipment operation experience, ability to evaluate landscapes, diagnose insect & disease problems, plant I.D. knowledge, &
basic horticultural practices
* This position requires excellent organizational, leadership, time management, and communication skills
* Valid state driver’s license and good driving record
* Others as required by federal & state law
