Aircraft Mechanic UH-60 7745

Purpose:
The following description/requirements are to be preformed on UH-60 helicopters, OH-58C and or UH-1H experience a plus. Inspects, services, repairs and replaces aircraft components to ensure air worthiness. Reads and Interprets manufactures, customer and maintenance manuals for inspecting, replacing/repairing malfunctioning or damaged components. Disassembles and inspects parts for wear and serviceability. Examines and troubleshoots aircraft systems for defects and diagnose malfunctions. Uses test equipment and calibrated items. Replaces and or repairs worn, damaged or defective components, such as actuators, bell cranks, M/R & T/R blades and hub assemblies, fittings, hoses and gear boxes etc. using common tools. Operates hoists, forklifts, towing vehicles and ground support equipment.
Must have a minimum of three years experience performing UH-60 Helicopter maintenance at the Intermediate and or Unit Level. Must be knowledgeable in use of the ULLS-A records keeping system. Candidate must be high school graduate or completed an equivalent program. Must posses valid drivers license, safety shoes (steel toe) and required tools prior to employment. Must consent to drug testing.
