Accenture’s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR. We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.

The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses. Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

Job Description
Client Operations professionals are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients. They design, manage and implement the activities associated with key business functions. The Service Delivery/Operations capability focuses on the attributes or skills essential to providing the necessary services and solutions to the client, the client’s employees or the client’s customers in fulfillment of contractual obligations agreed upon by both parties. Examples of professionals in this capability would be software developers and technical architects. The Application Outsourcing specialty incorporates skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.

The eDocs Developer provides maintenance support for client’s new eCommerce portal and also provides new enhancement support. The eDocs Developer has a solid understanding of the functional and technical aspects of the portal and assists in the coordination of work efforts between Accenture and client team members throughout all phases of the software development life-cycle. The eDocs Developer works on site with the client and understands business processes, effectively communicates requirements, creates designs, resolves questions/issues and codes.

Key responsibilities may include:
•Manage own workload
•Communicate accurate and useful status to Team Lead, and / or Program Manager as appropriate.
•Ensures that code meets the appropriate project, development, and quality standards.
•Ensures that deliverables meet the agreed upon timelines.
•Fulfills obligations/completion of deliverables within own area of responsibility — can include requirements, designs, code, code reviews, testing plans, test execution, etc.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications

• Experience in eDocs
• Strong communications skills (written and oral)
• Microsoft Suite of Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word)

Nice to Have
• Skills in Java, J2EE, JSP, or Servlet
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in the telecom industry or portal development
• Experience with offshore delivery methodology
