Websphere Portal Project Executive

Manage Portal PMO's, provide portal consulting, and use sales skills to expand projects with value-added services.

Strong Portal Project Executive with Sales skills
- 5+ years of project managment. Experience must include manageing 10 FTEs with several workstreams and include responsibilities for project budgeting, invoicing, personnel management, client managment/ relations, and add-on sales work.
- 5+ year of consulting experience
- Strong sales record and experience
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Management, Computer Science or Business Information Systems. Advanced degree a plus.
- 5+ years plus of IT experience with a minimum of 2 years of Enterprise Portal development/implementation experience.
- Ability to understand the "big picture" and to identify and resolve key issues.
- Strong presentation, communication and consulting skills.
- Strong sense of ownership, commitment, and sales aggressiveness
- Experience leading teams within larger full-life cycle portal project (team sizes of 3-10+ resources)
- Willingness to travel
Technical Exposure Must Include:
- Significant exposure as a team member or lead on multiple full-life cycle Enterprise Portal projects. Ideally, experience will include exposure to the architecture, development, implementation and integration.
- 2+ years exposure with at least one of the following Enterprise Portal solutions: SAP Portal (either EP/SP 5.0 or EP/SP 6.0), Plumtree, Vignette, SharePoint, BEA Portal, Websphere Portal.
