Distant Horizon, Inc. (www.distanthorizon.com) is seeking an experienced web graphic design professional having the ability to cut and code their own work. We feel strongly that web graphic design cannot be separated from the process of coding a clean web site. A graphic design and print background is desirable with a working knowledge of HTML, CSS and some javascript. We have a full staff of ASP and .NET programmers to help with any code beyond that.

Distant Horizon is the sponsor of the Internet Minute radio campaign on 560AM WIND and the creator of Rapid Deployment Commerce, a full-featured e-commerce and web catalog application. Many of our projects involve taking over poorly designed web and e-commerce sites to re-create the content in a way that follows search engine optimization guidelines. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a talented web designer to build their portfolio of completed work quickly. With full-time Research & Development staff, Distant Horizon is one of the best learning environments for web developers in the Midwest.

Distant Horizon is currently based in LaGrange, Illinois but this winter we are relocating to a new office building in Lockport, Illinois located one block from the I-355 tollway extension.
