Advanced Public Safety is seeking a Web/Graphic Designer with strong HTML, Photoshop and Illustrator skills. This position handles a variety of projects to include producing graphic designs and copy layouts for online content and marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have experience utilizing user-centered design principles to translate concepts into designs that support brand objectives.

Candidates must have a solid work ethic, be capable of working independently and of setting and meeting goals and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written) are a must. Time management skills and the ability to multitask are critical. Candidates must have a positive attitude, be flexible and have the ability to work under pressure when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years experience in related field
• Knowledge of layout principles, aesthetic design concepts, image mapping, information architecture and usability
• Strong understanding of HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator and other industry standard design applications
• Ability to provide ongoing design, maintenance and quality assurance of website pages
• Ability to provide artistic direction in the completion of marketing and advertising assignments
• Ability to produce clear and dynamic site content
• Thorough understanding of the web medium and interface design, its limitations, issues, and solutions
• Programming experience a plus
