For this position you need 5+ years experience designing websites with a focus on UI. The sites you will be working on are both internal and external. The external site will be used by thousands our clients on a regular basis. It is important that we provide our clients with the best possible on line experience.

This position offers the opportunity to be a member on a team building new functionality for a multi-client web site. This is a small, growing, highly productive group that is looking for a user Experience Manager that can keep pace while creating leading edge designs. Combining a keen eye for user interface design and a strong instinct for usability, you will have responsibility for specific projects that impact the web site. The User Experience Manager will have an excellent understanding of user-centered design, a passion for creative exploration, and can effectively translate business requirements into compelling site designs.

What you need to apply:
- At least 5 years of professional design experience preferably for a retail site.
- Bachelors or higher degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent understanding of user experience design for the Web, demonstrable design skills, and ability to show relevant work.
- Experience launching products for consumer web sites.
- Proven ability to work and coordinate with multiple groups, including business owners, product managers, creative designers, usability engineers, software developers, and senior executives.

What you will be doing:
- Define scope and requirements for new projects and for optimizing existing web applications.
- Lead the user interface design for your projects.
- Deliver prototypes, mock-ups, design specifications, use cases, process flows, requirements and conduct usability studies.
- Perform QA & UAT
- Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, including members of the software development, Marketing, QA, sales, product management and Documentation teams.
- Aid in concept development through focus groups, user interviews, surveys and observational studies.
- Identify and lead process improvements that make the development process better.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and teamwork.
- Design and develop processes for measuring and analyzing user behavior on the site.
