Butler University seeks Web Communications Associate to develop content for web sites, e-newsletters, video streaming, podcasting and other emerging forms of online communication for all department across the university. This position will develop schedules to update time-sensitive content on the web, create and assist clients in scheduling e-newsletter campaigns, research online information needs of targeted audiences; coordinate with university departments to gather and disseminate information for on line use; develop SEO strategies for web content; monitor and report web analytics and other metrics to evaluate the success of messaging objectives.

Requirements for the position are: Proficiency in HTML; ability to work comfortably and professionally across various departments and levels within the university; understanding of web/e-communications from public relations and marketing perspectives; excellent writing and communication skills, specifically related to writing for web and online media; excellent time management skills and attention to detail; ability to work independently and as a team member.
