Web Analyst/Developer
Our Web Analyst/Developer who will design, develop, test and implement solutions on moderately complex Web based information systems.
Responsible for analyzing, developing and supporting Web based systems, addressing complex software problems, and providing solutions using current Microsoft web technologies (ASP.Net, C# and VB.Net).
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Formulate and define system design and objectives based on user requirements. Prepare technical specifications from which application programs will be developed.
• Develop sound technical solutions to meet user requirements that consider system capacity and limitations, performance requirements.
• Develop applications / web service components employing ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net and the Microsoft .Net (1.1/2.0) Framework.
• Responsible for quality assurance of system deliverables.
• Manage integration of web applications with backend procedures, databases and application data structures.
• Follow application development life cycle methodology for development and maintenance activities.
• Provide assistance, information and expert advice to management.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of web application design, development, testing and performance engineering experience.
• Microsoft.Net certification required (MCSD, MCAD, or at a minimum, MCP).
• Must have strong knowledge of developing, troubleshooting and supporting web sites and applications using a variety of web technologies.
• Must be proficient in standard concepts, practices and procedures within the web development field.
• Hands-on experience required with VB.Net, ASP.Net, C#, .Net Framework, XML, Web Services (SOAP), HTML, Javascript, VB Script, ASP, COM, IIS, OOP, and SQL.
• Experience with RDBMS, preferably ORACLE/Unix and MS SQLServer
• Have full technical knowledge of all phases of life cycle applications systems analysis and development.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Omni Plus experience beneficial
• Have technical working knowledge with Microsoft’s Visual Studio, Biztalk and Sharepoint Server products.
• Experience with XML and Macromedia Flash a plus.
• Knowledge of retirement benefits - 403(b),
• 401(k), pension record-keeping systems, and/or health and welfare benefits systems a plus.
