DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of Web Site Administrator in the W. P. Carey School of Business is a new and challenging position, reporting to the manager of the Web and Database team. The primary objective is to establish and maintain the wpcarey.asu.edu site as a "world class" resource for its varied academic and business research audience. Duties include, but not limited to: influence, coach, train, and empower distributed content providers; reinforce accountability for web quality to the unit level. Perform as a writer, graphic designer, web developer, website marketer, project manager and technical trainer. Anticipate internet trends, plan content direction, implementing change, and promoting innovation. Maintain and publish a chart of accountability for the various segments of the wpcarey.asu.edu site; performing daily site maintenance; set school standards for design; perform navigation and browser compatibility tests, perform audit of the various segments of the wpcarey.asu.edu site and prepare report on quality; provide training, technical support, and development consultation to the provider units throughout the school.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in technology or related field and two (2) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Six (6) years experience providing information technology services; OR, any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Evidence of a degree in web development technology and/or experience in Web Page Layout and design; Experience developing web pages and interactive web content using HTML, XML, Flash Action Scripting and HTML editing tools; Dreamweaver MX and CommonSpot are preferred; Experience in Cascading Style Sheets and JavaScript; Experience in graphic design and page layout development for the web; PhotoShop or Fireworks is preferred; Experience in organizing and overseeing large projects. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
