Currently Stock is seeking a industry experienced driven WAN Admin for its Raleigh, NC location.
BASIC DUTIES: Design, Engineering and Support of the North American Network. Provide support and engineering for the rapidly expanding North American Network. Install, configure and maintain WAN & LAN Devices. Research new technology that can enable efficiencies within the organization. Firewall Troubleshooting, Administration and Auditing. Act as escalation point for network issues, to include virus outbreaks, denial of service or other anomalous items. Recommend / implement solutions as required by the enterprise. Provide day to day Cisco VOIP support. Vendor interface (work with regularly/maintain relationships). Provides user training and support as needed. Develop and maintain documentation and inventories. Other duties as assigned by company management
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required—4 year degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience. 4 years of applicable networking experience in an enterprise environment preferred. Should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to record and manage project time. CCNA certification required; CCNP preferred. Experience with WAN management tools, such as HP Openview, experience with TCP/IP in large, variably subnetted LAN/WAN environments, WAN protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP, network traffic analyzers/sniffers, Cisco VPN, VLANs, T1, T3, and broadband connectivity. Cisco routers and switches, Checkpoint Firewalls, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
