Visual Basic Programmer Analyst

Comsys is recruiting for a PERM position, a Programmer Analyst with VB6, ASP.Net, and VB.Net skills for our client in the SW subs of Minneapolis. In this position, you will design and develop applications for a complex Supply Chain system that includes inventory, warehousing, invoicing, etc., utilizing Visual Basic and SQL Server with an Object Oriented development platform. This position requires a team player who wants to work in a fun, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities include: providing high-level technical options and identifying system impacts, translating requirements into detailed design, leading and facilitating design sessions (or participating in design sessions if you are a more junior level programmer analyst), and maintaining the integrity of the application architecture. Salary range is $70K - $85K.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications and skills required include: 3-5 years experience with VB6, ASP.Net, VB.Net, VB Script, XML, MS SQL Server, and solid Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Programming. Proven experience in being able to deliver enterprise level solutions in a timely manner. Self-starter with excellent communication and problem solving skills. Experience with supply chain management would be helpful, not required.
