Business application systems encompass any and all areas of the company’s business functions This includes all phases of the software development life cycle, including: requirements analysis, specification, prototyping, design, testing, debugging, implementation, and maintenance. Successful candidate will be expected to be the expert in these areas.The successful candidate will be a self-starter, have experience in gathering user requirements, have the ability to work independently, have a professional appearance and attitude, and have the ability to successfully complete projects with little supervision.Position is a full-time, 40 hr per week position, with set work hours. Working environment is casual-professional, friendly, cubicle/office type of environment.
Technical department is small and the successful candidate will be expected to interact daily with users and management on technical as well as non-technical subjects.Successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved with a wide range of IT technologies and issues. A working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, basic Windows Server 2000/2003 administration, and ability to field general IT trouble calls desired.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidate will possess intermediate to expert level knowledge in the following technologies and their interaction:Microsoft development including Visual Basic 6, Source Safe, etc..
Visual Basic 6 business logic and front end development.Microsoft SQL Server 2000 for Database, Tables, Stored Procedures, Triggers, User Defined Functions, Views, Query Analyzer, etc.Crystal Reports forms, reporting, and programming.Knowledge/Experience in the following would be a plus:.Net technologies, web development, system administration, network administration.Salary DOE
