Vignette Infrastructure Engineer

Department Description: Corporate eBusiness Advanced Internet Platforms (AIP) is supporting multiple global platforms including a corporate wide "Intranet Content Management System" using Vignette CM technology. This position is part of the AIP operations team that is responsible for maintaining, enhancing and supporting this environment on a 24/7 basis. More specifically, this position will be responsible for Enterprise Content Management Service. He/she will be part of a of an operations team interfacing with enterprise IT and/or business teams as well as multiple levels of support teams to deliver Content Management service to meet intranet information management needs across the enterprise.

Responsibilities/Expectations: Participate and in and co-lead the design, upgrade and integration architecture of Intranet Content Management platform with deep understanding of the business requirements of the platform.

Participate in definition and maintenance of platform activities road-map. This includes guidance and quality control for ongoing implementations on of the content management platform, on-going technology refresh/upgrades, integration with eBusiness services and enterprise information sources/applications.

Develop service delivery model including creating service description documentations and marketing materials, defining of roles and responsibilities in the end to end service delivery chain, customizing and communicating support model, managing platform/service capacity review/upgrade, creating configuration/change management processes, standardizing on-boarding procedure, managing platform monitoring, presenting periodic service operations reviews and outage RCA analysis.

As a participant of the Level 3 platform support team this position will require to be “on call” off hours on a rotating basis to meet customer SLA for PRODUCTION, UAT and Integration environments.^^

Knowledge Skills: Knowledge and experience with Vignette Content Management product suite and its integration capabilities from architectual, implementation and administration's perspective.

Knowledge and experience with BEA Weblogic Application Server from a system administration perspective

Operating system administration skills (Unix and Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)

Understanding and experience with Internet technologies, such as: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, SSL, Firewalls, load balancers, intrusion detection, and website monitoring required

Java / Java script / shell script programming languages preferred

Familiarity with Oracle databases and Veritas Cluster technology is a plus

Experience with the day-to-day operations of an Internet Operation or Hosting Center preferred.

Self-starter, a team player, as well as having the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to maintain a positive attitude whilst working with time constraints and the need to prioritize work required.

Familiar with working in a large enterprise.

Excellent oral and written communication skills (English) required.
