Video/CCTV NOC Support Tech

Support Video Services which includes video systems, telemedicine, telejustice, video conferencing, distance learning and broadcasting.End User Support - Provide technical support for Video and CCTV systems, scheduling of video calls for sites and maintain inventory control list for Video Systems.System Maintenance and System Upgrades - Ensure that all Video systems are running the most current software version and patches. Maintain documentation of video system configurations, Video Network drawings, troubleshooting procedures and system maintenance renewal dates.Project Implementation - Provide on-site technical support for Video/CCTV projects approved by personnel.Other duties as assigned - maintain Video NOC equipment to ensure systems are always operational.


Requirements:

Knowledge of CCTV Systems, Pelco, Kalatel, Vicon, Honeywell, IFS, AFI, Phillips/Bosch.Experience with Video system running over IP, ATM and ISDN networks using the following equipment: Polycom, Tandberg, Cisco, VTEL, Lucent.Must be able to prioritize various tasks to best meet the needs of the department.Make hardware and software recommendations to the Video NOC manager.Keep the supported system up and running efficiently and with as little downtime as possible.Provide knowledge and training to users to improve their ability to operate the video systems.2 years experience needed.Associate degree or equivalent.
