Veritas/Netback Project Manager

Purpose: Senior Technical Lead will have the analytical, design and implementation skills within the technical platforms, an understanding of the business vertical, and experience overseeing managed teams. The Lead will be responsible for resource management, client interaction, workload management, process design and status reporting. This resource reports directly to the client project lead/contact person and manages all team resources.

Candidate must be well versed with Veritas and NetBackup, candidate also, must have strong analytical skills as well as implementation skills.

Candidate also must have lead an implementation of Veritas or Netbackup and also have the following elements of a Analysis/Implementation cycle.

Onsite analysis (~360 Servers in scope)
o Overall backup methodology and requirements
o Backup Inventory Analysis and Review
o Backup Device Recommendation
Implement standardized backup methodology with existing structure
Technical skills required:
Veritas NetBackup
Extensive experience in delivering enterprise backup solutions
Extensive experience and knowledge of WAN architecture and design
Understanding of multiple file and application types
Non-Technical:
Project management
Interfacing w/users
Written and Verbal Communication
Knowledge transfer

This opportunity is a Project based Contract opportunity that will require for potiental candidates to be on site at the client. There is no opportunity for telecommute due to the time sensitive nature of this project.
