VB.Net Developer

Purpose: This is an advanced information technology position responsible for providing high quality design, development, coding, testing, implementation and maintenance of the graphical user interface (GUI) for the our client's Management project using VB.Net and related third party controls. The selected candidate will be expected to perform duties under limited supervision.

Typical Duties:

Performs coding in VB.NET with use of third party controls, while meeting established deadlines.
Performs testing duties to confirm application changes; analyzes and corrects existing code; researches and corrects
user problems and known bugs.
Reads and comprehends database model and code; analyzes database objects to determine how the design relates
to the code; suggests DB changes as needed to meet coding and business needs.
Documents code and coding methods in writing.
Researches new technologies and methods for use in the application.
Participates in staff and design meetings and performs analysis of current business practices to propose and
implement detailed designs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree including eighteen credits in computer science.
