VB.NET Software Developer

Retailer Owned Research Company (RORC) has an immediate opening for a Software Developer located in our Arlington, Texas office. We're looking for a full time person with a minimum of 3-6 years experience in Technology to fill this VB Developer role. Relevant skills include MS SQL Server 2000/2005 and VB.Net. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree or better in Computer and Information Sciences.

Description
Our Software Developer must be a highly motivated IT professional with experience in the latest technologies such as Microsoft's Visual Basic .NET, ADO.NET, XML, MS SQL Server and Crystal Reports. This individual must also be capable of working in a fast-paced environment either by themselves or within a small team environment.

Responsibilities
.NET:
. Client-side GUI design/development in VB.NET 2003/2005.
. Server-side component design/development in VB.NET 2003/2005.
. Creation and manipulation of XML data.
. Report creation and manipulation using Crystal Reports v10.

SQL:
. Stored Procedures (simple to complex)
. Views
. User Defined Functions
. T-SQL
. Normalized relational architecture
. Strong experience writing simple to complex SQL queries and trouble shooting stored procs, views, and functions.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
. 2 years development in Microsoft software environments (Visual Basic .NET 2003/2005, VSS, XML, ADO.Net, Remoting, Crystal Reports, etc.)
. Minimum of 2 years MS SQL Server 2000 / 2005
. 4 years experience working in an environment with full project lifecycle methodology to include the ability to manage the processes of requirements gathering, analysis and estimation, testing, training, quality assessment.
. Analysis & Development of enterprise application integration solutions.
. Strong business systems analysis, application design and development skills.
. BA or BS strongly desired.
. Any experience in the retail POS (point-of-sale) and Backoffice systems development a MAJOR PLUS!
. Any experience using Crystal Reports v10 and up a plus.
