Usability Tester

Responsibilities: We are looking for a talented, savvy and astute Usability Tester to join our dynamic team of progressive professionals. As the Usability Tester, you will serve as the functional expert for testing retail transaction issues within our client and the restructured electricity market in Texas. You will provide technical support for the Retail Testing & Quality Control team and supports the Retail Testing Coordinators with our internal client and Market testing, and be expected to support the team to process transactions to review, test and implement changes, fixes and requests for the Retail Testing Environments. You job responsibilities will be as follows: primary testing resource for scheduled releases; secondary testing resource for emergency production migrations and production verifications; managing defects with IT Support teams and Retail Testing Coordinators; identifying System Investigation Requests (SIRs) with input from business, development, and IT Support teams; maintaining proficiency in the use of all internal department documentation, the testing responsibilities within the System Investigation Request (SIR) process, and testing requirements; operating complicated and sophisticated software and used to map, document or debug transactions; monitoring data security.
