Unicenter NSM Administrator

Based in our IT Department, this position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of all aspects of the UniCenter NSM and desktop tools to ensure optimum service levels are met at all times. Duties would include assisting in the design, installation, configuration, maintenance and system integration testing of UniCenter NSM technologies; knowledge of UniCenter functionality (COR, DSM, Agents, SNMP, 2-D maps, Event Manager); and supporting, maintaining and upgrading UniCenter desktop tools (Software Delivery Option, Asset Management Option, Remote Control Option). Additionally, you would provide after-hours support for all UniCenter NSM tools and be a backup resource for troubleshooting and maintenance in the absence of the Unicenter engineer.

Qualified candidates will be a high school graduate or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience with UniCenter NSM or 4 years of IT experience. Must be familiar with a variety of operating systems, network architecture and standards, and SQL, DB2 and Oracle databases. Occasional travel may be involved.
