UNIX Systems Administrator (Solaris)

Galen Technology Solutions is currently looking for a candidate with the following experience for one of our clientele:

UNIX System Administrator

*** THIS IS A PERM POSITION ***

Responsibilities:


Senior UNIX System Admin responsible for daily production support for UNIX servers (Primarily Solaris environment with some AIX and Linux servers). Maintaining stability of servers, meet/exceed application SLA which will include the setup, configuration and testing of hardware and software. Creating and maintaining documentation of all processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS


Skills Required

6+ Years of UNIX (Solaris) Systems Administration.
Experience supporting remote servers and enterprise level servers and applications.
Financial Industry experience a plus.
AIX/LINUX experience is a plus.
Knowledge of shell programming is a plus
