Responsible for the installation, planning, implementation, performance and maintenance of the UNIX Operating Systems.Resolve server issues as well as add improvements to existing processes and function
Provide support to our 24/7 operational environment.Establish systems standards including controls integrity and implement backup/recovery procedures.
Our requirements
BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
2- 4 years experience with SUN/Solaris (7, 8 or 9) systems administration including OS installation and patching, upgrading, configuration and administration of servers and networks.
Experience with Apache, Iplanet and /or ATG, Veritas Foundation Suite, Veritas Clustering, Tivoli, Legato, Oracle 8i or 9i, and EMC and SAN technologies.
Strong project management/planning skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Flexibility to support a 24/7 operational environment.
