COMSYS is currently seeking a Trainer/Systems Analyst for a one year contract to Hire opportunity located in Arlington, VA off of the Ballston Metro.



Job Description:



Scope of Work


<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Develop training materials and training schedules to support training.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt"><li>Revise course materials to keep them current with business requirements, federal regulations and policies.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Function in the role of trainer for courses offered to support the role of the Systems Analysis.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Assist with the System’s Analysis Departments mission of supporting all Driver and Vehicle related systems by performing tasks to support the business and technical analysis required, attending and assisting with various working group meetings, and providing weekly status updates. </DIV>

Description of Tasks



MCSIA Training


<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Assist with the conclusion of the pilot stage delivery and course revision</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Maintain a current schedule of course offerings and instructor assignments</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Provide information regarding number of attendees, course effectiveness and participant evaluation</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Function as instructor for courses offered</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Develop new courses and corresponding support </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Develop procedures for the administration of the training activity within the technical division </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Serve as the liaison between the technology division and AAMVA’s Education and Training Department </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Work with outside vendors and internal staff to ensure the technical environment supports the training activity</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Work with the jurisdictions and federal partners to ensure stakeholder involvement in the training </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Work in Course Development and function as a Trainer for Web based training.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Performing Web based training – done from Arlington – several times a week sessions would occur. Web X (could change), utilizing some Web based tool.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Providing training to DMV offices across the country.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Pilot classes went well, revise courses and deploy.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Participate in new training development.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Function as Sr. Sys. Analyst in addition to the training responsibilities.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Develop Instructor’s guide and Participant’s guide.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Will schedule instructors, track course completions etc.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Will help get the courses in the right format for Education and Training Dept</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">80/20 – Training (80%)/Other duties (system analysis, data modeling, process modeling) - attending working group meetings, co-author white papers etc. </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Future development of CBT and other types of training as well as Business process analysis.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Administrative, procedures and policy people will be attending the training.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Oct and Nov – start training.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">Training will start as a co-pilot (highlights, check marks) with a pilot and a real SME to answer questions.</DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">30-50 audience members per training, anticipating filling up to maximum 50 at one time.</DIV>
