Telecom Specialist - Pasadena (5597)

Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Telecom Specialist to join our team in Pasadena, CA.Job Responsibilities:

Ensures design proposals meet customer needs. Monitors implementation for technical correctness to ensure customer needs are met.

Troubleshoots problems associated with telephone switches, PBX, or telephones.

Interfaces w/third party vendors for product support on Interactive Voice Response, Call Accounting, CTI, and Voice Mail Systems. Maintains and repairs Interactive Voice Response (IVR).

Completes associate internal moves, adds or changes in a timely, efficient manner. May include software programming, cross connect changes, and hardware moves.

Responds to trouble calls as assigned by upper level Telecommunications associates.

Assists in major real estate moves for assigned locations.

As assigned, contacts outside vendors and coordinates installation, maintenance, and upgrades.

Distributes phone numbers to on-line phonebooks and telephone operators.Required Skills:

2+ years of telecom experience.

Experience working in a complex telecom environment.Desired Skills:

Healthcare backgroundMinimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
