Telecom Network Engineer (CDMA required)

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will provide engineering expertise to support existing data network related solutions and to analyze, design, architect, and/or acquire data network and data network related systems and solutions. The position will identify new and/or update existing product and system engineering requirements based on business, operations, and marketing requirements. The position will obtain solutions based on the requirements, evaluate and select preferred solutions, and deploy systems and solutions including design, analysis, development, implementation, verification, and documentation. This position is responsible for the analysis, design, and oversight of network and/or systems architecture and configuration. This activity is critical to ensure that systems in place and operational in support of customer and customer-affecting traffic, provide the requisite high level of performance, reliability, and stability. This position is responsible for identifying new requirements for the network and/or systems architecture, sub-systems, and services based on business, operational, marketing, or other requirements. New data network and system requirements can arise due to a variety of causes including addition of new applications, services, components, changes in usage, unanticipated usage patterns, etc. It is critical that new requirements are quickly identified and appropriate corrective or developmental activity initiated. This position is responsible for obtaining candidate solutions based upon identified requirements for the data network and/or related systems and for evaluating those solutions against measurable parameters derived from those requirements. This position is responsible for recommending a preferred solution based on that evaluation and the review of other engineering team members.
