Technology Supervisor, Integration

Purpose:
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee all technical support personnel responsible for initiating and implementing technology solutions for enterprise wide systems and services, mission critical production systems, desktop management and application development to meet strategic and operational objectives of the company. Oversee the Wintel Engineering team responsible for seeking out new technologies, evaluating, designing and implementing solutions, providing lifecycle engineering and proactively seek out and recommending new tools that will improve efficiencies within IT. Oversee the Application Development team responsible for all home grown applications and integration of production system interfaces, where there is no vendor supported or available solution. Oversee the Desktop Management team which focuses on implementation, automation and standardization of Desktops and certifying new software releases and patches. Provides staff development plans and performance evaluations.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 7 years proficiency and experience with planning, implementation, monitoring and management of complex enterprise wide systems including Microsoft Windows Server NT/2000/2003, MS Cluster, Exchange 5.5/2000/2003, Active Directory, VMWare, SMS, and Microsoft SQL. Must also be proficient in planning, implementing and supporting web-based, stand-alone, and multi-user applications. Understanding of Object Oriented Design, structured programming methodology, Service-Oriented Architecture, Microsoft SQL Database design, Microsoft .NET Framework / C#.NET. Understanding of project management methodologies and tools, exceptional organization and communications skills to foster collaboration across departments and skill sets required. Leadership, coaching, staff direction and development are essential. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar discipline or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred. ITIL, MCSE and/or CCNA certification desirable.
