Technical Specialist II

Especially when you are considering a move to a company like AQUA Illinois, Inc., a subsidiary of AQUA America, Inc., the nation's largest investor owned water utility.The primary focus of the duties of the regional Technical Specialist II is to provide “front line” IT support, development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s technical infrastructure. This would include support for the desktop environment (PC hardware and PC applications), network servers, MS exchange email, network security, remote routers/modems, Avaya telephony (Kankakee Call Center), and daily trouble shooting for these areas. Technology includes the Windows XP operating systems, Veritas backups on Windows 2003 platform, Computer Associates Help Desk applications, Office 2003 products, applying SUS Updates, Symantec anti-virus and ghosting products.
REQUIREMENTS
SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL OR REGISTRATION QUALIFICATIONS:Candidate must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. A 2 year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or 2-4 years Information Technology field related experience.
