Technical Specialist

Responsibilities: A major investment bank, located in New York City, is seeking a Technical Specialist for the Equities Trade Floor support for NYSE. This Specialist will work on the NYSE floor supporting traders in a demanding environment that requires very quick response time. High-touch customer interface experience will be expected. The position requires work that will provide NYSE and SIAC support teams for after hours and weekend testing (as needed) to include the CS internal networking team. Desktop support for Windows XP environment including support pf client wireless handheld devices is required. Trading applications support, including Market Data applications, MS Office, etc. is required. This position will work closely with development to provide update and feedback on application releases and work closely with the Equities application production support team to include sharing the same hotline and overlapping of responsibilities.
