Functions as the Technical Specialist for the development and implementation of complex 'debit card' on line transaction processing programs for the EBT market, including system setup/configuration. Provide ongoing on call support as needed. Must have the ability to troubleshoot quickly and escalate as necessary. Also this position is responsible to ensure ongoing support of the online application and the data center operations, as well as the Back Office functions.














REQUIREMENTS


BS in Computer Science, Math, Business or related discipline, and/or equivalent experience.











Minimum of 5 years experience in the development and support of real-time transaction processing applications including a working knowledge of system development (from feasibility to implementation of medium to complex projects), with at least 2 years experience in debit/credit or equivalent on-line real-time transaction processing systems.











Working knowledge of high availability system and their architecture, with Compaq/Tandem Non-Stop experience preferred.











Working knowledge and experience developing or performing Quality Assurance Testing, including the business analysis and testing skills needed for the preparation of documents for all phases of systems development (from feasibility through implementation).











Must be willing to provide on-call support as necessary to ensure system-wide availability.
