Technical Operations Specialists

Media Works team members represent every area of our business, from technology and innovation to film and television production and are an integral part of making NBC Universal one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.Responsibilties to include, but not limited to:Monitor air signal for multiple networks
Manage and coordinate schedule manipulation in a live control room environment
Operate live control room workstations
Monitor the air signal of multiple networks for quality and continuity
Operate X and Y automation streams to maintain air
Operate router for break in situations
Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors for trouble shooting purposes
Work with Live control room to coordinate Live commercial manipulation
Operate Crispin automation to manipulate commercial log
Track Live commercial changes with Kintana discrepancy reporting tool
Operate production switcher
Operate production audio mixer
Operate Crispin for live commercial playback~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: BA/BS in related field
Minimum 5 years experience On-air broadcast environment
Minimum 7 years experience in related field
Experience in a "live" broadcast environment
Technical experience with automated, real-time systems, digital video and audio troubleshooting techniquesEligibility requirements:Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered
Willingness to work overtime, and/or on weekends with short notice
Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation
Must be 18 years or older
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United StatesDesired: Overall understanding and knowledge of the television production process
Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to effectively prioritize
