Technical Database Administrator

Job Description:
Responsible for updating and maintaining CPD database, files, manuals, both internal and external, and utilizing Engineering and supplier provided data, assuring compliance with Engineering requirements, FAA regulations and other regulatory requirements. Will work all database reports, part number setups, supersedings and special projects. Will coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Purchasing and other support groups, as necessary. Must have the ability to research and interpret engineering and/or supplier information as applicable to the spares environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires in-depth knowledge of IMSPROD, MPLN and WENG. High School diploma and/or some college preferred, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and a general knowledge of aircraft parts is necessary. One (1) to three (3) years experience in manufacturing methods and processes. Additional requirements include strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent data entry, PC, and typing, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel necessary.Posted 8/11/06
