Responsibilities and skills include but not limited to:oDemonstrates adherence to documented team compliance expectations.oApplies Service Management (SM) processes and procedures when handling relevant Service Desk records.oApplies environment-specific Change Management processes and procedures when implementing changes to web servers.oUses appropriate remote-access tools to access web servers.oApplies basic UNIX concepts, principles, processes or architecture in troubleshooting Web Server Support events.oExecutes operations effectively through command line interface within the UNIX Operating System.oApplies advanced UNIX concepts, principles, processes or architecture in troubleshooting web server support incidents.oMatches to and uses the most appropriate web tool to the situation.oApplies basic knowledge of the supported versions of Sun Java Server to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover web server support events.oCorrectly handles content change requests.oCorrectly handles requests to establish new directories and determines appropriate server changes.oCorrectly handles Tape Archived (TAR) Failed incidents.oCorrectly troubleshoots ?no access? incidents.oCorrectly troubleshoots ?not allowed? errors.oCorrectly troubleshoots socket errors.oIs able to correctly handle requests to restore data.oCorrectly handles file permission errors.oApplies knowledge of the supported versions of WebSphere to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recover Web Server Support events.oApplies basic J2EE concepts, principles, processes or architecture in troubleshooting Web Server Support events.oApplies advanced J2EE concepts, principles, processes or architecture in troubleshooting Web Server Support events.oDemonstrates clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, including use of the telephone and e-mail.oApplies Change Management processes and procedures when implementing changes to web servers.oApplies basic knowledge of UNIX this includes AIX 5.2 and 5.3 concepts, principles, processes or architecture in troubleshooting web server support events.oExecutes operations effectively through a command line interface within the UNIX operating system.oApplies advanced knowledge of UNIX concepts, principles, processes or architecture in troubleshooting web server support incidents.
