Technical Analyst, Defense Sector

BearingPoint, Inc. is one of the world's largest business consulting, systems integration and managed services firms serving Global 2,000 companies, Federal Government agencies, including the Department of Defense, and other organizations.Our Defense practice seeks Technical Analysts for an Air Force Deployment engagement. The Analyst will support weekly software upgrades and installations on customer sites that are located throughout the U.S. and in some cases overseas.Location/Travel: This position involves extensive travel. Candidates may be based in any U.S. location, provided they are willing to travel.Responsibilities include:

Installation and upgrade of proprietary software at designated client sites
Â
Training and configuration of the application
Â
Troubleshooting issues as they arise
Â
Documenting the relevant activities for each client siteRequired qualifications:
Â
At least 2 years experience working with Sybase and webMethods (depending on overall experience, SQL may be acceptable in lieu of Sybase and/or webMethods)
Â
At least 1 year of Database installation and configuration experience, preferably with Sybase ASE.
Â
At least 1 year of experience with Windows 2000/2003 Server and related hardware components.
Â
Undergraduate degree
Â
Must be U.S. citizen and capable of clearance through the National Agency Check (NAC) process.Preferred qualifications:

Able to quickly learn new software and processes necessary to complete the expected work.
Â
Knowledge of and experience with webMethods Integration Server, Trading Networks, and Broker Services
