Tech Support Specialist I

Min Pay Annually: $41,700.00
Min Pay Hourly: $20.05Major Job Duties:
Work with wireline business customers on installations of new equipment. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Interview customers regarding telephony needs and design database program based on specifications
Oversee installation and provisioning of equipment and/or network, including coordination with other internal work groups and customer representatives
Programming Database
Develop and deliver customer training based on system design
Provide on-site support during installationKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Technical background in Key Systems and/or PBX/Data preferred
Technical background in Data Systems and/or Network perferred
Internal applicants must have satisfactory performance in all respects of current position.
May be required to complete Windstream's computer based assessment or other prerequisite courses and/or tests as determined by Windstream.
Must be able to effectively communicate with the public, co-workers, and managers.
Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention-to-detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Must be available for work during non-scheduled hours.
Must be neat in appearance, be able to write legibly, and prepare and maintain neat and accurate records.
Must be willing and ready to work in any assigned location and to attend schools for training, which may require out-of-state traveling as determined by Windstream.
Must demonstrate the ability to learn and use a variety of current and future applications, test systems, or information systems as they are developed.
Must have a working knowledge of using a computer and any applicable applications.Minimum Requirements:
College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience with 0-1 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7+ years professional level related experience with 0-1 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
