Systems Support Analyst III - Clinical

Provide functional information systems support to nursing, clinical, and ancillary departments. Participate in change management activities (system implementation, testing, upgrades, training) involving supported areas. Analyze and resolve problems. Will work on more complex projects. Will train and guide the work of less experienced Systems Support Analyst. This job description is for the following SSA positions: Radiology, Nursing, CVIS, E-CLIPS, Labor and Delivery, Surgery, and other clinical/ancillary areas. Competencies and skills required for these positions are assignment specific.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum Experience:Three or more years hospital clinical experience and three years with Information Systems in a healthcare setting. Clinical electronic charting application implementation and support.

Preferred Education:BSN, Nursing Informatics, Information Systems
Preferred Experience: Teaching clinical information systems and developing Crystal reports. System application support in a healthcare organization.
Skills: Ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills.
Pref. Certification/Registration/License:Licensed RN or other clinical health care professional.
