POSITION: Systems Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Systems Deptment – 3rd Shift –

SCHEDULED WORKING HOURS: Sunday – Thursday 10:30pm – 6:30 am

BASIC FUNCTIONS: AS400 Operator, Networking, Windows and PC support.

PRIMARY DUTIES:
Recommends movement of product to aid the efficiency of the DC.
Monitors and maintains the performance of the AS400
Responsible for implementing minor upgrades to the AS400
Performs follow up work within the scope of the job, i.e. double checks, changes, tracks the percentage of improvement.
Generates reports and/or statistical data that will aid in the re-merchandising of products.
Ensures all systems are operable, i.e., PC’s, LAN (email, programs), WMS.
Maintenance of PC’s, printers, and cleaning of systems.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
PDQ support
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:AS or BS Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
1-2 Years applicable experience a plus.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Regular and punctual attendance.
2. Must be able to communicate well with various levels of management.
3. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
4. Must possess the ability to work under time constraints.
5. Must have strict confidentiality at all times.
6. Canidate should posses an understanding of WMS from receiving to shipping.
