If you bring these qualities to your work, then we'd like you to consider joining our team.Under minimal supervision, responsible for being the government pricing and Medicaid liaison with internal Line of Business users to document user requirements, work with vendor (IMANY) to specify configurations, design reports, and execute test phases for CARS application. Written deliverables would include both functional and technical specifications that depict all HW & SW components and interfaces, as well as all applicable test plans. Interfaces with business users and functional analysts to identify and document the Company's business requirements and ensures realization through the development of value added enhancements while conforming to the system development life cycle. This is the senior-level position in the Systems Analyst/Developer class series. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
Manages medium-size cross-functional project teams tasked with solving technical issues. Evaluates the requirements and provides custom solution to support operational and business critical and reporting processes. Leads team in analyzing the information
and prioritizing the requirements to support the business needs.
Evaluates system impact in consultation with the business, IT management, regulatory, IT development, quality assurance, validation, and training teams. Partners with functional business system analyst and IT management to identify necessary department
resources to meet defined objectives.
Participates in strategic customer meetings to review and evaluate new technical challenges that are required to improve operating efficiencies and/or add business benefits.
Develops detailed design specifications for projects and enhancements.
Creates technical process models based on requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components.
Performs required documentation according to corporate standards (CSOPs, CFOR, etc.) and Operations Manuals (OM-IT).
Designs and develops test plans (e.g. test objectives, test cases, test data, test scripts) for executing unit.
Acts as an internal resource for the consultation to other department members to provide expertise and possible solutions to resolve business needs.
Performs system configuration and integration testing including the functionality, performance and fit to ensure that it meets the original requirements and works within the defined constraints.
Manages the development and testing of the custom solutions, necessary business changes/additions to the ERP and/or integrated third party system.
Provides input to effective change management, training requirements, and rollout plans to business and users.
Leads team providing post-implementation support to users.
Develops, maintains and provides technical expertise in order to transfer knowledge.
Performs related duties as assigned.Qualifications
Seven (7) to ten (10) years work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment with emphasis in computer programming; or, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience, to include:
Knowledge of:
Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), GXP and other regulatory requirements.
Testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
Key directional trends and emerging technologies in the IT industry.
Creating and monitoring batch jobs.
Converting system data.
Current Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Skill in:
Implementing goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective management of allocated resources.
Analyzing problems, identifying alternative solutions, and recommending and implementing techniques and methods for resolution of problems.
Researching, analyzing and evaluating new computer system methods, applications, procedures and techniques.
Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Creating, writing and compiling reports utilizing various report writing tools and technologies.
Utilizing project management tools and techniques to plan and ensure the progress and ultimate completion of designated projects; estimating the cost of a project to design, develop, test and deploy the required solution.
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with individuals contacted in the course of work.
Complying with all current Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
Working independently, with little or no supervision.
Participating in small to medium sized projects.
Interfacing professionally, effectively and efficiently with all levels of personnel co-workers and outside vendors.
