Systems Analyst

Purpose: TEKsystems is in need of a systems analyst. The Technical Specialist will be expected to carry a pager and be On Call on a 24X7 basis. The Technical Specialist will sometimes be required to attend maintenance calls to ensure/direct that all steps are followed, as well as attend and run meetings and conference bridges to resolve Incident/Outage type issues. Must be able to drive issues to resolution by working with all members of project teams. This person should have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management or related field, and at least three to five years experience in an application services environment for a large corporation. They should have experience using the Remedy Suite of products or other similar applications. This technical professional should also have had previous encounters working alongside DBAs, Programmers, System and Network Operations Teams, as well as Management of all levels. Individuals should have experience in writing SQL queries, Excel Spreadsheets and proven history using the Microsoft Suite of products, Unix, Web Development and familiarity with HP Openview.
