SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: SENIOR LEVEL SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT OF PROGRAM WIDE INFRASTRUCTURE SYSTEMS. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: BUILD, INSTALL, CONFIGURE AND TROUBLESHOOT COMPUTING INFRASTRUCTURE. MANAGE CHANGE CONTROL PROCESSES. DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN RELEVANT POLICIES, PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTATION. CANDIDATE MUST: BE ACCURATE, EFFICIENT AND WORK WITH MINIMAL SUPERVISION. BE CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED, DEPENDABLE AND WILLING TO COMMIT TO COMPLETING ASSIGNED WORK IN ORDER TO MEET PROJECT DEADLINES. DEMONSTRATE ABILITY TO ASSIST OTHERS IN LEARNING NEW SYSTEMS AND PROCEDURES. HAVE STRONG ANALYTICAL SKILLS. HAVE ABILITY TO STAY DETAIL-ORIENTED IN A FAST PACED, MULTI-TASKING, PRODUCTION-ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT. HAVE ABILITY TO ADAPT TO CHANGING PRIORITIES. HAVE STRONG VERBAL AND COMMUNICATION/LISTENING SKILLS. BE ABLE TO INTERACT WITH INDIVIDUALS ON ALL ORGANIZATIONAL LEVELS. BE WILLING TO TAKE ON ADDITIONAL DUTIES. BE WILLING TO TRAVEL AS REQUIRED. BE WILLING TO SUPPORT THE OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE OF A 7X24 COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT.

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIRED SKILLS: HP-UX 11i, HP Openview, HP MC/Service Guard DESIRED SKILLS: ORACLE, BEA Tuxedo, RAID 0,1,5, and 10. EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
