Systems Administrator/Developer

Purpose: TEKsystems is seeking a Systems Administrator / Entry Level Developer for a direct placement.

This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation and management of the networking infrastructure and network supported applications within the organization served by the IT Department. The reporting relationship for this position is to the IT Director. This position will develop and maintain the necessary technical knowledge and industry specific knowledge necessary to maintain and advance the networking infrastructure to leverage that knowledge and related technologies for the benefit of the organization. The systems administrator must be capable of assisting the IT Director in the development, implementation, and management of network related projects in a timely and accurate manner. This position requires clear communication abilities, the ability to dispassionately discharge assigned authorities and duties, the ability to work with and integrate responsibilities with other members of the department and organization. The Systems Administrator will provide the IT Director with a complete understanding of network functions, it?S related technologies, and services it can use to support and advance the organization as a whole. In addition, this position will participate as needed in projects and tasks relating to the scope of the IT Department and general organizational needs. Including but not limited to the development of software applications to benefit the organization as a whole.
