System p, i, x & Storage Account Representative Needed!

At Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc (LRS), we’re expanding our sales staff and we’re seeking an Account Representative to take on the challenge of selling IBM Storage, System p, System i, System x and Tivoli Storage Manager Software as well as LRS Solutions focused in the areas of Business Continuance and Storage Management. Your will call decision makers of target companies and ultimately sell them on these solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include cold calling, lead generation, sales qualification and closing of the sale. You will conduct face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects.
In addition to your sales responsibilities, you will be involved in assisting our presales technical specialists in solution design and with demonstrations of the products that we resell. You will be expected to work with our marketing programs coordinator in the development and execution of various product marketing campaigns as well.We have positions in two areas:
•For our Midwest openings, you will be based at our office in St. Louis or at our headquarters in Springfield, Illinois. If you have System p or System i certification from IBM, you may be able to work from other locations in the Midwestern USA. Your territory will consist of a select group of named accounts (200 to 250) located primarily in Illinois and Missouri although they could be located in Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Indiana, or Wisconsin.
•For our Southeast openings, you will be based at our office in Atlanta. If you have System p or System i certification from IBM, you may be able to work from other locations in the Southeastern USA. Your territory will consist of a select group of named accounts (200 to 250) located in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, or Alabama.You will be required to travel (30-40%) within your defined territory.Compensation will consist of a base salary plus commission.
You must have at least one year of experience selling IBM System p, System i, System x, and/or enterprise server/storage such as EMC, HP, Sun, or IBM via face-to-face sales calls. You can also qualify if you have a minimum of two years of information technology-related outside sales experience in either the Midwest or Southeastern USA markets. If you only have telesales experience, you will not be considered for this position.
We are looking for someone who has consistently met or exceeded quota at previous employers.
