System Engineer - Cellular/Data Communication - San Diego, CA -

SAN DIEGO CA - DIRECT HIRE - SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Develop systems including adaptation and extension of commercial systems to novel applications and environments. Support government-sponsored research.

Skills/Experience
Requires three to five years experience with:

CDMA or UMTS cellular and data communication protocols

Cellular and satellite system physical layer standards

System requirement and architecture development

Tools for analysis and simulation of communication system performance

Familiarity with Internet protocols, including Voice-over-IP useful

Additional Skills
Must have a current or recent Top Secret (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree required in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, and a Master's degree or higher preferred.
