System Administrator I

Work requests for Telecom services via Service Center tickets. This includes but is not limited to the following:

Install, relocate, remove telephone lines based on criteria set forth the by Networks and Telecommunications. This includes interfacing with customer when needed criteria is missing from ticket, assigning phone numbers, determining which switch/node the phone should work, adding/removing number from appropriate switch. Coordinate work with technician. Good customer service skills a must.

Keep avail number list updated with current information

Assign fax numbers via tickets from Service Center for desktop fax and as fax number for multifunction devices. Update database. Forward this information to the Exchange Server group for final processing.

Assign/remove long distance access codes. Put codes to work in the PBX switch. Update database with employee information. Call employee to pickup code.


** Educational Requirements:

*High School

*2 years College
